The UAF takes another step in the development of inclusive sports: On May 3, the Inclusive Football Festival "Football for All" will take place.

On Saturday, May 3, at 10:00 AM in Kyiv, on the artificial fields of NTI named after Viktor Bannikov, the Inclusive Football Festival "Football for All" will begin — a unique event aimed at developing inclusive sports in Ukraine.

The event is organized by the Ukrainian Association of Football, the Ukrainian Association of Football for People with Disabilities, as well as leading sports and civic organizations working to involve people with various developmental disabilities in football.

In Ukraine, the total number of people with disabilities reaches three million. The festival is aimed at popularizing equal access to sports, providing people with disabilities the opportunity to lead an active lifestyle and highlighting the importance of rehabilitation through physical activity.

Within the event, training sessions and friendly matches will take place involving players:

  • with amputations or functional impairment of one of their limbs (amputee football);
  • with hearing impairments;
  • with cognitive or intellectual disabilities;
  • with motor function disorders (CP);
  • with diabetes.

Why is this important?

— In the context of war and daily challenges that Ukraine faces, sports become not only a means of rehabilitation but also a powerful platform for support, unity, and personal growth.

— Inclusive football opens up new opportunities for thousands of people who are often overlooked in traditional sporting environments.

— The festival will serve as an example of how through partnership, social responsibility, and a systemic approach it is possible to create conditions for full participation in sports for everyone.

— We aim to show those who continue to support others despite the war and destruction.
