March 24-27 in Zhytomyr, courses for the professional development of physical education teachers titled "Football in General Secondary Education Institutions" were held.

The event, organized in cooperation with leading representatives of the sports community, aimed to deepen educators' knowledge in football methodology and educational process organization.

Professional composition of lecturers:

— Volodymyr Doroshenko — director of the SDOSSHR "Polesye" and first deputy head of the Zhytomyr Oblast Football Association. His experience and professional expertise allowed not only to convey practical knowledge but also to inspire colleagues to implement innovative approaches in teaching;

— Oleksiy Bondar and Andriy Rimchuk — coaches of the "Polesye" academy, who shared their own training process methods and modern technologies for football education.

The main goal of the courses was to create a platform for exchanging experience and deepening professional knowledge among physical education teachers. In particular, participants had the opportunity:

— to familiarize themselves with the material-technical base of the Zhytomyr Oblast Sports Lyceum, which serves as an example of modern infrastructure for hosting sports events;

— to observe training sessions of teams from the football club "Polesye" with the aim of studying the specifics of organizing and conducting a training process;

— to participate in practical classes, which allowed them to directly apply acquired knowledge and skills as well as exchange experience with colleagues.

The first (introductory) class opened up opportunities for acquaintances and establishing professional contacts. Among the participants were Ruslan Mayevsky, executive director of the Zhytomyr Oblast Football Association, and Andriy Hoshko, methodologist at the Zhytomyr Oblast Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education. Their presence became a vivid example of effective interaction between organizational structures and professional communities, contributing to further development of sports education in the region.

The professional development courses became an important step in modernizing approaches to teaching physical education. Thanks to the participation of highly qualified specialists, practical training opportunities and professional exchange, teachers were able to introduce contemporary methods into their educational process, which will contribute both to students' sports development and overall physical upbringing.
