On March 26, 2025, in Kyiv at the Rejo football hall (VDNH), the National Guard of Ukraine Football Cup was held to commemorate the 11th anniversary of the establishment of the NGU. Six military unit teams from the Kyiv garrison participated in the tournament, competing for the honorable trophy.

The final match was attended by President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Shevchenko. The legendary former football player and coach not only greeted the participants on the occasion of the anniversary but also awarded the winners, expressing support for the military and emphasizing the importance of sports in the lives of Ukraine's defenders.
