A working meeting of the leadership of AFC with coaches of football clubs and schools in Kyiv took place at the office of the Public Association "Kyiv Football Association".

According to information from the official website of the organization, the head of the department for the development of children's and youth football at the Ukrainian Football Association, Bohdan Hordiynuk, participated in the event. In his speech, he noted that UAF is actively working on improving the regulations of football competitions to make them universal and uniform for all regions of Ukraine.

During the meeting, important issues related to organizing football skill contests, changes to the Regulations for conducting championships and cups in Kyiv for the 2025/2026 season, preparing young players, and developing an arbitrators' school were discussed.

Key decisions made following the meeting:

— to hold skill contests on the "Temp" stadium on March 29, 2025 for age categories U-8, U-9, U-10, U-11 and U-12;

— to support proposals of the committee responsible for conducting competitions regarding changes and additions to the draft Regulations for conducting championships and cups in Kyiv for the 2025/2026 season;

— to approve the proposal of the referees' and observers' committee concerning changes to the size of voluntary donations for arbitration and supervision of competitions;

— to discuss new requirements for coaches (it was emphasized that a coach without an active coaching license (PRO, A, B, C, D), who has not started training courses for obtaining it or is not a candidate for training, does not have the right to officially represent their team in competitions, be present on the bench and manage the team's actions);

— special attention was paid to safety issues during competitions under martial law.

Proposed changes to the regulations for the 2025/2026 season will be put forward for consideration at the next session of the Executive Committee of the Public Association AFC for approval.
