At the start of the third period, Andriy Potapov made the score even — 3:3. The decisive events in the match occurred during the last few minutes. First, our opponent went ahead, but then Andriy Nershy's shot forced Portugal's goalkeeper to make a mistake. However, with just 20 seconds left before the final whistle, Ukraine conceded another goal.

Thus, the loss — 4:5 — deprived our team of any chance at winning the El Salvador Beach Soccer Cup 2025. Tomorrow night, Ukraine will play their last match against Venezuela's team.
