The head coach of Ukraine's beach soccer team, Mykola Kostenko, commented on the preparation of our team for the tournament in El Salvador and named the players who are preparing for the games.

The Ukrainian beach soccer team will participate in the El Salvador Beach Soccer Cup 2025 — the first international tournament of the new year. The competition will take place in the capital of El Salvador, San Salvador, from February 15 to 17. Our opponents will be teams from Portugal, El Salvador, and Venezuela.

The blue-and-yellow team has already started preparing for the tournament at the city Hydro Park. The coach of the Ukrainians, Mykola Kostenko, commented on its progress.

"Our delegation in El Salvador will consist of 12 people — 10 players and two coaches. Currently, preparations are underway; all of them work at the SUNRISE Beach Sports Academy. Training sessions take place either once or twice a day depending on how involved the boys are in futsal matches. That is, everyone works together in the morning, and in the evening, as a rule, training is individual."

"The core of our team for the tournament in El Salvador consists of already tested players, but there's also one newcomer — Oleksandr Samoylenko from 'Artur Music.' The training process in Kyiv will continue until next Saturday; then Sunday will be a rest day, and on Monday evening we depart for the competition," said Mykola Kostenko.
