The Ukrainian Football Association is holding the Women's Winter Cup for the first time in five years — the main winter tournament of women’s football in Ukraine. From February 4 to 7, teams will compete at the training facility of FC "Dynamo" (Kyiv) in Koncha-Zaspy.

This year, the tournament became special: it is the 10th anniversary edition and ten women's teams from across the country are participating in the top league.

Today, on February 4, preliminary round matches took place. "Polesia" (Zhytomyr) and "EMS-Podillya" (Vinnytsia) advanced to the quarter-finals.

The duration of the matches is two halves of 35 minutes each. In case of a draw, the winner will be determined in a penalty shootout.
