According to the UAF Executive Committee-approved Calendar of All-Ukrainian Women's and Girls' Football Competitions for 2025, matches in the spring portion of the Ukrainian Championship among women's first league teams will begin on March 16 and end with a final stage from May 13–15.

The season project in the first league envisages the participation of 15 teams, playing over two stages.

Group Stage. The Ukrainian Championship in the first league is held under a round-robin system over two rounds, at home and away, in two groups — A and B.

Final Stage. The top two teams from each of Groups A and B advance to the playoff stage for determining the winners of the first league: semi-finals (A1–B2, B1–A2), followed by a final match and a third-place match.

Based on the results of the Ukrainian Championship in the first league for the 2024/2025 season, the team that secures first place will earn the right to be promoted and play in the Ukrainian Championship among women's teams in the higher league during the 2025/2026 season.

Teams finishing tenth and eleventh in the higher league, as well as those securing second and third places in the first league, will participate in playoff matches to secure a place in the Ukrainian Championship among teams in the higher league for the 2025/2026 season. The playoff stage will consist of two matches (May 22 and May 26) — home and away (10V–3H, 11V–2H).
