The Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association has approved Oleksandr Sitnik as the head coach for the Ukraine U-16 national team (players born in 2009) and the Ukraine U-15 national team (players born in 2010). The administration of the UAF has already signed a cooperation agreement with the coach for a term of one year. Developing the system of youth national teams is one of the priorities in the work of the UAF.

We remind you that this year, the Ukraine U-16 national team will participate in the first qualifying round of Euro 2026 (U-17). As a result of the draw, our team ended up in Group 1, where it will face Italy, Montenegro, and Estonia in October. The host of the mini-tournament will be Estonia.

Also, among the plans for the Ukraine U-16 national team this year is participation in friendly international tournaments. The Ukraine U-15 national team will prepare through NTZ matches and friendly games for the Euro 2027 (U-17) qualification, which will start in autumn 2026.
