It brought together the head of the UAF Women’s and Girls’ Football Committee, Anastasiya Klipachenko, representatives of the UAF Women’s and Girls’ Football Department, first-league club leaders, and coaches of girls’ teams participating in Ukrainian championships.

The meeting addressed key aspects of the first league’s operations, girls’ championships, and strategic objectives for the near future. Participants highlighted the challenges of developing girls’ football at the local level, the importance of improving training conditions, raising the quality of competitions, and attracting new teams to Ukrainian championships.

Anastasiya Klipachenko emphasized the need for constructive dialogue between the UAF, clubs, and regional associations to achieve common goals.

“We aim to create the best possible conditions for the development of women’s and girls’ football in Ukraine. Our mission is not only to support existing teams but also to engage young girls in football across regions and communities. We need to elevate girls’ and women’s football to a new level,” she stressed.

Anastasiya also presented a comprehensive player development project that highlights the role of coaches as mentors, guiding players from their early steps in football to becoming professional athletes.

Special attention was given to the competition calendar for the first half of 2025 and the expansion of infrastructure for clubs. Coaches and team leaders had the opportunity to share their suggestions, raise concerns, and ask questions about their work and the future of women’s football development.

The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere, culminating in agreements on further cooperation and the creation of new initiatives to support women’s and girls’ football at all levels. All suggestions and concerns raised by participants were carefully considered. The leadership plans to thoroughly examine pressing issues, collaborate closely with regional associations, and make maximum efforts to improve conditions and advance women’s football in Ukraine.
