Today, on December 13, it marks 20 years since Gerard Hoen, the editor of France Football weekly magazine in Paris, presented the "Golden Ball" to Ukrainian Andriy Shevchenko.
It will be hard to find a more fitting occasion to recall the goals scored by today's president of the Ukrainian Football Association when he played for various age-group national teams and clubs "Dynamo," "Milan," and "Chelsea".
It is worth noting that Andriy Shevchenko became the third Ukrainian to win the "Golden Ball" after Oleg Blokhin (1975) and Igor Belanov (1986).
