The clubs of the First League have completed the first stage of the 2024/2025 season. Next year, competition will take place in the championship group and the relegation group.

The victory in the final round in Khmelnytskyi allowed the "Epitsentr" footballers to overtake "Agrobusiness" and become winter champions. And under difficult weather conditions, Nagornyak's wards deservedly achieved their goal. The home team from "Podillya" only scored one goal on a 0:2 scoreline towards the end of the match, but they lacked time to avoid defeat.

The team from Kamianets-Podilskyi started the season somewhat unsuccessfully due to personnel losses. However, it was gradually possible to stabilize the lineup and play, and "Epitsentr" overcame their struggles. Since the top quartet in this group had already been determined after the previous round, the leaders aimed to increase their points total in the final matches. This was most successful for "Metalist," which secured a victory against "Ivano-Frankivsk" — 2:1, while "Bukovyna" lost to "Minau" — 0:1, significantly worsening their chances of promotion.

In Group B, the central match of the round took place in Poltava, where the home team faced off against "Metalist 1925." In case of a win, Sisenko's wards would have overtaken "Kudryvka" in the race for first place. However, Kharkiv's side had other ideas; they also needed points to qualify for the UPL next spring. And this was successful for van Leuven's wards. Early in the second half, the most active guest player, foreigner Ari Moure, scored a goal that proved decisive — 1:0.

Today's match between "Viktoriya" and FC "YUKSA" concluded the first part of the season. Surprisingly, the Sumy team celebrated an easy victory — 5:1, preventing their newcomer opponent from Tarasivka from challenging for the lead.
