WU-15: Ukraine wins UEFA Development Tournament in Moldova

Today, on October 3rd, Ukraine's WU-15 women's team (players born in 2010) concluded their participation in the UEFA Development Tournament, held in Moldova.

The Ukrainian team faced their peers from Moldova, Lithuania, and Greece in the competition. According to the tournament regulations, each team played three matches, all of which took place at the local football association’s fields in Vadul lui Vodă.

A win awarded three points, while in case of a draw, a penalty shootout was held, with the winning team earning two points and the losing team receiving one.

In the first match, the Blue and Yellows defeated Greece 2:1, followed by a 1:0 victory over Lithuania.

In the final match, the Ukrainian girls overcame the host team (2:1) to claim the prestigious tournament title in this age category.
