From August 13 to 17 in Uzhhorod, the VIII traditional tournament in honor of distinguished footballer Andriy Havași took place. This tournament, held under the patronage of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF), has deep traditions in promoting children's and youth football not only in Zakarpattia but throughout the country. After the full-scale invasion by Russia, it was held for the first time.

Usually, the tournament took place at the end of summer, when all teams are actively preparing for the start of DYPFL matches and consider such tournaments as one of the final stages of preparation for the season. This year, Uzhhorod warmly hosts competitions in two age categories — U-15 and U-17, each with two quartets of participants.

According to the regulations, group winners played in the final. Teams that finished second in their quartets faced each other for third and fourth places. Accordingly, teams that were third in their groups competed for fifth and sixth positions, while those that ended up fourth — seventh and eighth.
