On August 13 in Uzhhorod, the traditional tournament in honor of Andriy Havasi — a prominent footballer — was launched and will continue until August 17. This tournament, held under the patronage of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF), has deep traditions in promoting children's and youth football not only in Zakarpattia but also throughout the country. It is being held for the first time since the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation.
Usually, the tournament takes place at the end of summer when all teams are actively preparing for the start of DYPFL matches and consider such tournaments as one of the final stages of preparation for the season. This year, Uzhhorod warmly hosts competitions in two age categories — U-15 and U-17.

Winners of the groups will play in the final. Teams that finish second in their quartets will meet in a match for 3rd-4th place. Correspondingly, teams finishing third will compete against each other for 5th-6th places, and those finishing fourth — for 7th-8th positions.
