In the final match of the 2024 European Championship (WU-19) in Kaunas, Lithuania, teams from Spain and the Netherlands faced each other. Prior to this, they had defeated England (3:1) and France (2:0), respectively.
In the game for the trophy, the Spanish team scored in extra time — 2:1. "La Furia Roja" became champions for a sixth time overall and won back-to-back titles.
It is worth noting that at the match, one of the assistants on the lines worked Ukrainian referee Svitlana Hrushko.
