The second opponent of Ukraine's U-19 team in the group stage of the European Championship, which is taking place in Northern Ireland, Norway’s team secured five wins and only one draw in six qualification matches. And they suffered their first defeat only in the final phase of Euro 2024 — in the first round against Italy.
At Euro 2023 (U-19), Norway made it to the semifinals (thus earning bronze medals), and overall, the U-19 national team has been performing quite steadily over recent years. This is Norway's fourth out of five final tournaments in this age category in the last few years — a very respectable record.
