The Ukraine WU-15 team held a training camp in Ternopil, which included two friendly matches — against Rukh Lviv (4:2) and Prykarpattya-CYSS No. 3 Ivano-Frankivsk (4:1).

In an interview with the UAF official website, the head coach of the Ukraine WU-15 team, Olena Kudziyeva, shared whether everything planned for this stage of preparation was accomplished:

- For my players, proper conditions were created. Thus, we accomplished everything we had planned. I was satisfied with the friendly matches, in which we secured confident victories.

- Were all the 22 players called up to the camp the ones you wanted to have at your disposal?

- The players invited were those I had noted during this year's competitions. Except for the goalkeeper from Kryvbas, Mariya Voznyuk, who unexpectedly decided to quit football, the rest arrived in Ternopil.

- After the friendly matches, which positions still require strengthening?

- Scouting work is ongoing, and now we are focused on finding a goalkeeper and full-backs.

- Who else is part of the coaching staff?

- Volodymyr Levchuk, Nataliya Churikova, and Oleksandr Mytko, who is responsible for goalkeeper training.

- Will the Ukraine WU-15 team participate in matches this year?

- From September 27 to October 2, we will compete in the UEFA Development Tournament in Moldova, where, in addition to the hosts, our opponents will be players from Lithuania and Greece. On September 22, we will start a short-term camp and then head to the neighboring country.
