WU-15: Ukraine triumphs over Prykarpattya-CYSS № 3 in friendly clash
The Ukraine WU-15 team held their second friendly match during a training camp in Ternopil.
Ukraine's youngest national team (born in 2010) assessed their closest reserves for future participation in the UEFA Development Tournament, where the under-15 team will compete for the first time in history later this year.
On June 13, the blue-yellow squad gathered in Ternopil for a week-long training cycle, including friendly fixtures against women's teams.
In the first friendly on June 16, under the guidance of Olena Kudziyeva, Ukraine WU-15 defeated Rukh Lviv 4:2. On the 19th, the women's team secured a 4:1 victory over Prykarpattya-CYSS № 3 (Ivano-Frankivsk) at the Ternopil City Stadium named after R. Shukhevych. Goals for the blue-yellow team were scored by Kseniya Vorobey, Sofiya Yurchenko, and a brace from Arina Paskarenko.
