On June 7th in Warsaw, the Ukrainian national team suffered a 1:3 defeat to Poland in a friendly match. Forward Artem Dovbyk, named the Man of the Match, shared his impressions of the game.

"I'm very grateful to the fans as this is my first Man of the Match award. I hope it won't be the last. About my goal? It was a counterattack, and Ruslan Malinovskyi made a good pass. I received it, shifted slightly, and shot because I saw that the Polish goalkeeper was a bit off his line. I aimed well and scored.

"There's no need to turn the loss to Poland into a tragedy. Right now, all national teams are in the preparation stage for the Euros, and even the England team lost at Wembley. There's something for us and the coaching staff to think about. I believe the dress rehearsal for the European Championship is still ahead of us," said Artem Dovbyk.
