On June 5 at the V. Bannikov National Technical University, the decisive match of the XXII Ukrainian Championship among student teams of higher education institutions for the season 2023/2024 took place.

In the final, the team of the State Trade and Economic University won with a score of 1-0 against the National Technical University "Yuri Kononov Poltava Polytechnics". The bronze medals were won by the National Academy of Internal Affairs in a battle with Chernivtsi National University.

The organizers of the XXII Ukrainian Championship among students of higher education institutions were: The Committee for Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine's Ministry of Education and Science, the Ukrainian Football Association, the Student Sports Society of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Association of School and University Football.

Honored guests at the final included: Head of the Committee for Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine's Ministry of Education and Science Vadim Stecenko, First Vice President of the Ukrainian Football Association Pavlo Boychuk, First Vice President of the Ukrainian Association of School and University Sports Vadym Misura, Chairman of the Rectors' Society of Higher Educational Institutions of Ukraine Petro Kulikov, rector of the State Trade and Economic University Anatoliy Mazarakhi, and rector of the National Academy of Internal Affairs Volodymyr Chernenko.

In his welcoming speech, First Vice President of the UFA Pavlo Boychuk noted: "Congratulations to participants and winners. It should be noted that the referees of the final match, Artem Karapetyan, Igor Brika, Dmytro Kychyk, Artem Tischenko, and the assistant referee Oleg Derevinsky were awarded diplomas of the first degree.
