On May 26 in Uzbekistan, at the main square of Samarkand—Registan—the draw for the final tournament of the 2024 Futsal World Cup with the participation of Ukraine's national team took place.

The final tournament of the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup will take place from September 14 to October 6 in three cities of Uzbekistan—Andijan, Bukhara, and Tashkent.

During the draw, 24 teams according to the FIFA ranking for national futsal teams were divided into six groups of four participants each. Two best teams from each quartet and four third-placed teams will advance to the knockout stage. After that, round-of-16 matches, quarter-finals, semi-finals, a match for third place, and the final will take place.

The Ukrainian national team was drawn into Group C, where they will face Argentina, Afghanistan, and Angola. The schedule of the blue-and-yellow team in the final tournament has now been determined.

Our team secured their license in December last year after defeating Poland (5:3) in the elite round of qualification. Under the guidance of Oleksandr Kosenko, they topped their group and earned a direct spot at the World Cup. Along with Ukraine, Kazakhstan, France, Spain, and Portugal also secured spots from Europe. Two more lucky teams were determined later after play-off matches where Netherlands defeated Finland, and Croatia beat Poland.
