As they prepare for the final stage of Euro 2024 (U-17), Ukraine engaged in a brief training camp, during which they played two friendly matches against their Cypriot counterparts.

Cyprus, the hosts of the upcoming European Championship, provided a valuable opportunity for Yuriy Moroz's proteges to gain insights into their opponent's strategies. In the first friendly match held in Sotira, the Ukrainian team secured a 2-0 victory.

Today, in Larnaca, the teams clashed once more. This time, the Ukrainians succumbed to a 2-1 defeat. Cyprus found the net twice early in the second half and even missed a penalty, while Ukraine's lone goal came from Ivan Andreyko in the dying moments of the match.
