The Ukrainian team, gearing up for the final phase of Euro 2024 (U-17), kicked off their brief training camp with a friendly match against Cyprus.

With both Ukraine and Cyprus slated to compete in the same group during the upcoming European Championship, this friendly served as an excellent opportunity for Yuriy Moroz's side to size up their opponents.

The match, held in Sotira, saw the blue-yellow squad clinch a 2-0 victory, courtesy of well-placed strikes from Mykyta Sheleketa and Ivan Denysov.

The second friendly encounter between the teams is scheduled for April 11th in Larnaca, with kickoff set for 16:30 local time.
