In Paris, the 48th UEFA Congress took place

Today in Paris at La Maison de La Mutualité, the 48th UEFA Congress took place, which was attended by the president of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Shevchenko, the general secretary of the UFA Ihor Gryshchenko, and the vice-president of the UFA and head coach of Ukraine's national team Serhiy Rebrov. Several decisions were adopted at the event, as reported on UEFA's official website.

Tuesday in Paris at La Maison de La Mutualité, the 48th UEFA Congress took place, attended by President of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Shevchenko, General Secretary of the UFA Ihor Gryshchenko, Vice-President of the UFA and head coach of Ukraine's national team Serhiy Rebrov.

Several decisions were made at the event, as reported on UEFA’s official website.

Amendments to the UEFA Statutes

All proposed amendments to the UEFA Statutes were approved, including the provision that there must be at least two women in the UEFA Executive Committee.

Reports on Activities and Financial Matters

The report of the President and the UEFA Executive Committee was adopted, as well as the 2022/2023 financial report of UEFA administration, along with financial statements for 2022/2023 and budget for 2024/2025.

Ratification of New Members of the UEFA Executive Committee

European Club Association ECA (two representatives for four years)

Nasser Al-Khelaifi ("Paris Saint-Germain" (France).

Miguel Ángel Gil Marín ("Atlético" (Madrid, Spain).

European Leagues EL (one representative for one year)

Pedro Proença (Portuguese League).

In addition, the composition of UEFA bodies dealing with judicial matters and the UEFA Committee on Discipline and Compliance was ratified.

The next 49th Ordinary UEFA Congress will take place on April 3, 2025 in Belgrade, Serbia.
