President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about his briefing at the War Room regarding fortifications and several international meetings.

Conducted a War Council. Today — very focused on front-line issues, front-line support, fortifications, protection of our energy networks. There are good results. In particular, Ukrainian drone production — steady growth. A clear plan for the 24th year regarding drones. Adding contracts, adding funding. I thank absolutely everyone who is developing this area in our defense forces and implementing necessary changes. Everyone scaling up drone production. This truly saves lives of our soldiers.

There was also a report today at the War Council about fortifications. Prime Minister Shmyhal and Defense Minister Umeyov gave updates on construction speed, financing. Tasks are being completed.

Of course, we discussed ammunition issues — accelerating producers, additional contracts. Priorities are completely understandable.

Situation on key front lines. And special attention — Avdiivka. It is extremely difficult there. Thank you to all the boys at the positions — every soldier, every sergeant, all combat commanders. Updates about the front were given by Chief of General Staff Zaluzhnyi and commanders Moskalov and Syrsky.

Separately on energy objects — physical protection, restoration after strikes, going through the heating season. I am grateful to everyone who ensures stability of our energy and adds resilience to our state.

International work for today. Talk with President of Kazakhstan — our bilateral cooperation, we can add activities. I informed Mr. President about our global work on preparing the Global Peace Summit. And, of course, thanked the people of Kazakhstan and companies for humanitarian support for our people, our society. It is important to maintain a shared vision of principles. And most importantly — peace.

Several meetings today. Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs — I thanked for Canada's consistent support for Ukraine, for such aid that strengthens the most. Discussed further agenda of our relations — between Ukraine and Canada. And work was started by a coalition to repatriate Ukrainian children deported to Russia. Today in Kyiv this coalition began its work, a framework document on its activities was presented. Canada is one of the co-leaders of the coalition, and I am grateful for their activity.

Also held a meeting with Malta's Minister of Foreign Affairs — current chairperson of OSCE. For all in the world who value international law, it is important to implement all points of the Peace Formula. Especially regarding work on repatriation of Ukrainians deported to Russia.

We are gradually preparing for international work over the next weeks. We need even more activity for our collective strength. Not just Ukraine and Ukrainians, not just Europe, but all those around the world who seek stability and value human life. There will be appropriate formats of work, there will be new packages of support for Ukraine — we are preparing details.

And today's main news — a piece of news that we have all been waiting for a long time. For which we worked at various levels for months. Result — two more air defense systems arrived in Ukraine. Of course, the finer details should not be discussed publicly. But these are systems that shoot down everything. We will protect regions. While there are still not enough systems for full protection of Ukraine, but we work towards this every day.
