As is known, the Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association entrusted the administration and presidency of the UAF to carry out all statutory procedures for preparing and holding the extraordinary XXVI Congress of the UAF. Oversight of the implementation of this decision was placed on First Vice President of the UAF Vadim Kostyuchenko.

"Preparations for the congress are proceeding according to the approved schedule. All relevant departments and divisions of the association are involved in the process. At present, we have confirmation regarding the participation of delegates from all members of the UAF at the congress. We also continue to receive confirmations from invited honorary guests. In particular, Oleh Blokhin and Ihor Belanov, winners of the 'Golden Ball', have been invited to the congress. The head coach of Ukraine's national team, Serhiy Rebrov, will also be there. Valdimir Gutzeit, chairman of the NOC of Ukraine, and Matviy Bidnyi, acting minister of youth and sports of Ukraine, have confirmed their arrival at the House of Football as well. Details of visits by representatives of FIFA and UEFA, as well as associations from European countries, are being finalized," said Vadim Kostyuchenko during a meeting.

According to the decision of the Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association, the extraordinary XXVI Congress of the UAF will take place on January 25, 2024, at the House of Football (Kyiv), starting at 12:00.
