January 8 in Kyiv at the UAF Licensing Center, the first group of UAF instructors who conduct training for student coaches completed their course.

According to a statement on the official website of the UAF Licensing Center, the training was conducted according to UEFA's program, which included three modules and was led by experienced UEFA expert Dariusz Pasiek (Poland) and Director of the UAF Licensing Center Valeriy Shamardin.

The first two modules were held in Lviv at the Youth Educational-Sporting Center named after St. John Bosco, while the final one took place in Kyiv at the UAF Licensing Center. They included theoretical and practical sessions. Throughout the entire training course, instructors interacted with student coaches from groups of UEFA C-, A- and PRO licenses.

The training group of instructors included experienced lecturers who have been conducting instructor work at the UAF Licensing Center for a long time and now, in accordance with the UEFA Coaches Convention of 2020, have completed a full official training course and received corresponding diplomas and licenses.

"The training was conducted at a high level, as this was a pilot project under the guidance of our UEFA mentor Dariusz Pasiek. These nine specialists will participate in conducting theoretical and practical sessions for our listeners who will receive coaching licenses and diplomas of all three categories.

They are divided — three specialists lead the PRO category, three — the A category, and three — the B category. The division was based on their experience and level of preparation. Those who worked in children's and youth football, that is with players up to 14 years old, will be responsible for the B category, while those with experience working at the second, first league, and Premier League levels in Ukraine — for categories A and PRO.

Our specialists have already started working. Currently, PRO category sessions are taking place in an interactive format. When there is a two-month break between sessions, students divide into microgroups of five to seven people and work according to individual schedules at clubs. And each such group is led by an instructor who evaluates their work," — said the Director of the UAF Licensing Center Valeriy Shamardin.
