On December 7, the draw for the elite round of qualification for the UEFA Euro 2024 took place among teams under 17 years old, in which Ukraine's national team (players born in 2007 or later) participated.

As a reminder, Vladimir Yezersky's wards secured third place in their qualifying round group and advanced further based on the criteria among third-placed teams.

The elite round draw divided 32 teams into eight groups, whose matches will take place in March. At stake are 15 spots for the final stage, which will be held from May 20 to June 5, 2024, on Cyprus. Eight group winners and seven runners-up with the best results from the March games will advance to the finals along with the host country.

Based on the elite round draw results, blue-and-yellow teams were placed in Group 4, where they will play against Greece, Switzerland, and Slovakia. The tournament's host is Greece, according to UEFA. Match dates will be announced later.
