Our girls qualified for the third European Championship. In February, as part of their preparation for the continental forum, Ukrainian women twice defeated Slovakia on the road, and a day before the start, they lost to Portugal twice at home.

In the semifinals of Euro-2023, our team overcame the hosts from Hungary, after which they lost in a duel with Spain for gold. Spain won their third title. Nevertheless, Ukraine's women's national futsal team became silver medalists at the European Championship for the first time, as they were third (2022) and fourth (2019) previously.

After a long break, blue-and-yellow gathered again in November and traveled to Slovenia, where they played two friendly matches with Balkan teams. Now Oleg Shaytanov's wards are looking forward to the start of the qualification for the first ever Women's World Cup in futsal, which will take place in 2025.

In 2023, six players scored goals for Ukraine's women's national futsal team, with Anna Shulga being the top scorer with eight goals.
