Note to attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06:00 on November 4, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The six hundred and nineteenth day of the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.

The enemy continues to ignore laws and customs of war, uses tactics of terror, carries out missile and air strikes, conducts shelling with multiple rocket launchers not only at military but also at civilian objects in our country.

During the past day, 66 combat encounters took place. In total, the enemy carried out two missile and 62 air strikes, conducted 77 shelling attacks with multiple rocket launchers on positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

Air strikes hit Novoselivka, Petrovopavlivka, Novoosinove, Pyskanie, Proletarske in Kharkiv region; Nadia, Serebryanske lesnictvo in Luhansk region; Serebryanka, Seversk, Khrumovoye, Klyschyivka, Oleksandropol, Novokalynove, Berdychi, Novoselivka First, Avdiivka, Orlivka, Mariinka, Novomikhailivka, Vodyane, Vuhledar, Zolotaya Niva, Staromajorske in Donetsk region.

More than 110 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM «North» on Volynian and Polesian directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On Northern and Slobozhansky directions the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent our troops from moving into threatening directions, increases density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM «Khortytsia» on Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions near Sinkyvka, Ivanivka Kharkiv region and Steblakhivka Luhansk region. Our defenders repelled about 10 attacks by the enemy here.

On Lyman direction the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Verkhnyokamyanske Donetsk region.

On Bakhmut direction the enemy unsuccessfully tried to restore lost positions near Klyschyivka, where our defenders repelled about 10 attacks. Also, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Bogdanivka and Khromove Donetsk region. In turn, the Forces of Defense of Ukraine continue offensive actions south of Bakhmut Donetsk region, inflict losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, consolidate on gained positions.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM «Tavria» on Avdiivka direction, the enemy under support of aviation does not give up attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold the defense and inflict significant losses on occupiers. Thus, unsuccessful offensive actions by the enemy in the areas of populated places Stebneve, Tonetske, Avdiivka, Severne, Pervomaisk Donetsk region were repelled here. The Forces of Defense repelled about 20 attacks by the enemy.

On Mariinka direction the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Mariinka and Novomikhailivka Donetsk region, where Ukrainian soldiers repelled about 20 attacks.

On Shakhtarsk direction the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions near populated place Staromajorske Donetsk region.

On Zaporizhzhia direction the enemy unsuccessfully tried to restore lost positions near Robotino Zaporizhzhia region.

At the same time, Forces of Defense of Ukraine continue conducting offensive operation on Melitopol direction, inflict losses in manpower and equipment on occupying troops, exhaust the enemy along the entire front line.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM «Odessa» on Kherson direction, our soldiers conduct counter-battery battle, inflict fire damage to rear areas of the enemy.

During the past day, aviation of Forces of Defense inflicted nine strikes on areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, weapons and military hardware and two — on anti-aircraft missile systems of the enemy.

Subunits of rocket forces damaged seven areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, weapons and military hardware, radar station, radio-location station, two ammunition depots, ten artillery means of the enemy.
