Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 10:00 on September 25, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The one hundred seventy-ninth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

Russian occupiers continue to ignore international humanitarian law, not only shelling the positions of Ukrainian troops but also civilian infrastructure in populated areas, terrorizing peaceful residents.

Thus, last night Russia once again attacked Ukraine with missiles and kamikaze drones of the Shahed-136/131 type. Coastal infrastructure was hit in Odesa Oblast. Anti-aircraft defense destroyed 11 cruise missiles of the "Kalibr" type and 19 "shaheds."

Ukrainian defensive forces continue to conduct defense operations on the east and south of Ukraine, offensive operations on the Melitopol direction, and offensive actions on the Bakhmut direction, destroying the enemy, gradually liberating temporarily occupied territories, and consolidating their positions.

Over the past day, more than 32 combat engagements took place. The enemy inflicted one missile strike and 56 air strikes, carried out 85 shelling operations with multiple rocket launchers both on our troops' positions and civilian objects of our state. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties among the civilian population. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

Air strikes hit: Stepne in Sumy Oblast; Chernyshchyna in Kharkiv Oblast; Novoyegorivka, Nevskiy in Luhansk Oblast; Spirene, Klyschyivka, Andreyevka, New York, Avdiivka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Zolota Niva, Urozhaye, Staromayorske and Zelenoye Pole in Donetsk Oblast; Verbove, Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne and Novodanilovka in Zaporizhzhya Oblast; Berislav, Otradokamyanka, Mykolaivka, Burgunka, Olhyvka in Kherson Oblast and the city of Kherson.

More than 70 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "North" on the Volyn and Polesie directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On the Severnaya and Slobozhanska directions the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent our troops from redeploying to threatening sectors, increases mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in Belgorod Oblast.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Khortytsia" on the Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations. On the Bakhmut direction, our defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks in areas east of Bogdanivka and southeast of White Mountain, Donetsk Oblast. The enemy attempted to restore lost positions near Klyschyivka, Donetsk Oblast, but was unsuccessful.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Tavria" on the Avdiivka direction, our defensive forces successfully hold their defense lines and repelled enemy attacks in the vicinity of Avdiivka, Donetsk Oblast.

On the Mariupol direction the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near Mariupol, Donetsk Oblast, where he made 14 failed attempts to drive our units from their positions over the past day.

At the same time on the Shakhtarsk direction, our defenders continue to hold their defense lines and protect our land from occupiers.

On the Melitopol direction our defensive forces continue offensive operations. Our defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks in the vicinity of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhya Oblast, and are continuing to consolidate their positions.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Odessa" on the Kherson direction, our defensive forces continue counter-battery warfare, destroying enemy supplies and successfully targeting enemy rear areas.

Over the past day, aviation of the Defensive Forces delivered eight strikes on areas where personnel reserves, weapons, and military equipment of the enemy were concentrated.

Subunits of rocket forces inflicted damage to two air defense missile complexes, four artillery systems, one ammunition depot of the enemy.

Estimated losses of the enemy over the past day amounted to: 420 occupiers, five tanks, thirteen armored combat vehicles, twenty-seven artillery systems, two MLRS, two anti-aircraft defense systems, seven tactical drones, twelve vehicles and four units of special equipment.
