Euro 2025 (U-21): match venue and start time for the Ukraine and England youth national teams have been determined

The third match of the Euro-2025 (U-21) qualifying tournament for Ukraine's youth national team will be against England's team.

The Ukrainian U-21 national team (players born in 2002 and younger), which is led by Spanish coach Unai Melgosa, started their European Championship qualification campaign on September 12 with a home victory over Northern Ireland in Poprad, Slovakia — 1:0.

In Group F, besides these two teams, England, Serbia, Azerbaijan, and Luxembourg also participate. The Ukrainian team will play their home match against the English counterparts on October 16 in Košice, Slovakia, at the "Košická futbalová arena." Kick-off is scheduled for 18:30 local time (19:30 Kyiv time).

Regarding the upcoming match of Unai Melgosa's team, their away game against Luxembourg will take place on October 12 in Esch-sur-Alzette, the second largest city in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, at the Émile Mayrisch Arena and is set to start at 19:30 local time (20:30 Kyiv time).

In the final stage of the UEFA U-21 European Championship in 2025, 16 teams will participate: Slovakia and another 15 national teams that qualify through the qualifiers (nine group winners, three best runners-up, and three playoff winners).
