President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about the preparation for the Defense Industry Forum and new defense packages from European partners.

"I wish you good health, dear Ukrainians!

Today is a significant day—we are preparing a strong second half of September. Strong both in terms of our international work with partners and the decisions we implement here in Ukraine.

Dozens of meetings have already been scheduled, there's a clear meeting schedule.

There will also be clear and specific results.

Secondly, what is important to say.

We continue preparing for the Defense Industry Forum—the first such event in Ukraine. It will take place this fall.

Interest in the forum is very high. This fully reflects the strength and potential of Ukraine—our ability to defend ourselves and help other countries preserve freedom and international order. Already, 86 leading defense companies from around the world—this is 21 countries—have confirmed their participation in the forum.

Our task is absolutely clear—to give Ukraine all possible opportunities to produce weapons and ammunition, to provide modern technologies so that we have a reliable defense against any form of aggression. And, of course, to share our experience in defense, Ukrainian defense experience among allies and partners. The world must be stronger than any threat to life from any aggressors or terrorists.

This week, we also made significant progress in implementing existing defense agreements and other support packages.

Denmark—thank you for the new defense package, this is already the 12th one. Equipment, ammunition, missiles for our air defense. Germany—thank you for a new batch of military aid. Belgium—the participation in training our pilots has been approved. Thank you! Norway—a decision on additional funds for Ukraine's recovery. Very important. Thank you! South Korea—thank you for the new agreement on financial support! The United States—a new sanctions decision to limit Russia’s ability to terrorize. Thank you!

And, of course, our soldiers. All brigades and units that are now in battle.

Kharkiv region, Donetsk region, Luhansk region, Zaporizhzhia region, Kherson region. And those who have already distinguished themselves this week with results needed by Ukraine, and those I am sure are preparing to give Ukraine successes.

Thank you! We all take pride in our soldiers! And we are preparing to make our defense and security forces stronger!
