President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, informing about an agreement on the delivery to our country of a large batch of armored "medevacs" and his meeting with representatives of the BAE Systems company.

Wishing health, dear Ukrainians,

Today was a busy day.

A military and government briefing. The front line. Our offensive actions. Results of our weapons — new Ukrainian weapons — 700 kilometers. More tasks ahead.

Important news for the frontline: an agreement has been reached on delivering armored "medevacs" to Ukraine, in large quantities. What soldiers told me when we visited combat brigades. The Ministry of Defense reported today.

As always during briefings, there were intelligence reports — from the General Staff and foreign intelligence — about the occupiers' plans. Hopeless are their plans.

Held a meeting regarding next week's international events. Important meetings will take place. Important negotiations for Ukraine.

Another meeting — about tomorrow's day. It will be September 1st, the start of a new school year. Vice Prime Minister Fedorov and Minister Lesiv with their teams are preparing a very positive innovation for our students, parents, and teachers. Something that truly helps. We'll present the first details tomorrow.

Greeted today's Kyiv Polytechnic Institute — 125 years of university. It was extremely pleasant and beneficial to communicate with students and lecturers. No matter what happens, education will always remain an element that gives strength to people and the state, enabling growth and becoming stronger despite everything.

And I especially want to thank today our students and lecturers, our educators who not only acquire or help acquire education but make the educational process so practical as is needed right now when the bright minds of our people are helping, particularly Ukrainian "defense". Good projects exist among our students, strong projects. The Ministry of Strategic Industries has something to implement.

And one more thing separately.

Held a meeting with representatives of the BAE Systems company. The world knows this company very well. And our soldiers already know very well the weapons produced by this company, especially artillery — L119 and M777, armored vehicles — CV90, very powerful. The company is starting to work in Ukraine. Our goal — to be able to produce all the most useful defense equipment in Ukraine. And it will happen. Production already exists for certain positions and will continue for everything necessary.
