Home blindfold football players became world champions for the first time in Wolverhampton, England.

In the final, Ukraine's national team won against the hosts, England, in extra time—4:3. In the bronze medal match, Spain defeated Japan—9:0.

The best player of the tournament was Ukrainian Vadim Shveць—he scored the winning goal in the decisive game.

It should be noted that Ukraine's national team among players with visual impairments has been the world champion in futsal in 2015, 2017, and 2019.
