U-21: Unaï Melgosa named the squad for Ukraine's U-21 team for matches against Germany and Northern Ireland

The Ukraine U-21 national team starts the Euro 2025 qualifying tournament with a match against the Northern Ireland team.

The next qualifying cycle for the European Championship will see Ukraine's under-21 national team (players born in 2002 and younger), led by Spanish coach Unai Melgosa, kick off on September 12 with a home match against Northern Ireland. This game will take place in Slovakia at the National Training Center of Poprad's pitch (kick-off at 7:30 PM Kyiv time). Also in Group F are England, Serbia, Azerbaijan, and Luxembourg.

It is worth noting that as part of their preparation for the Euro-2025 qualification start, the blue-and-yellow team will play a friendly match against Germany's under-21 national team. The game will be held on September 8 at the Ludwigsstadion in Saarbrücken (kick-off at 7:15 PM Kyiv time).

Head coach of the blue-and-yellow team, Unai Melgosa, has named the names of 23 players called up for the September gathering.
