The Ukrainian youth national team (players born in 2002 and younger), which was recently taken over by the Spaniard Unai Melgosa, will begin their next qualifying cycle for the European Championship on September 12 with a home match against Northern Ireland. Also in Group F, alongside these two teams, are England, Serbia, Azerbaijan, and Luxembourg.

As part of their preparation for the start of Euro-2025 (U-21) qualification, the blue-and-yellow team will play a friendly match against Germany's youth national team. The game will take place on September 8 at the Ludwigspark Stadium in Saarbrücken. Kick-off is set for 19:15 Kyiv time.
