The U-18 youth team (players born in 2005) under the leadership of Oleh Kuznetsov will participate in the international friendly tournament "Seoul Cup" from October 11 to 15 in Seoul. During these competitions, Ukrainians will play against teams from South Korea, Morocco, and Vietnam.

The U-17 youth team (players born in 2006) under the guidance of Yurii Moroz will be based in the Czech Republic in September, where they will participate in the international friendly tournament Wacław Jezik from September 6 to 10. Among the opponents of Ukraine are the USA, Turkey, and Slovakia.

The youngest team, U-16 (players born in 2007), with which Volodymyr Yezersky works, will await a training camp in Kyiv. The NTZ, during which blue-and-yellow will play two friendlies against youth teams of clubs from the Ukrainian Premier League, will take place from September 3 to 12.

Also, as was previously reported, the under-21 national team led by Spanish expert Unai Melgrosso will conduct a training camp from September 3 to 12. During this period, they will play two matches - a friendly match against Germany (September 8; Saarbrücken, Germany) and an Euro-2025 qualifier against Northern Ireland (September 12; Poprad, Slovakia).

Scheduled training camps for the national team and youth teams will be the first stage of implementing a project initiated by the coaching staff headed by Serhiy Rebrov to create a unified vertical structure. The goal is to create a standardized and effective professional growth path for young players from youth teams to the senior level. It is important to create conditions for successful passage through this pathway.

We remind you that on August 11-13 in Uzhhorod, the first educational seminar for coaches of all national teams was held.

"Serhiy Rebrov set as a goal to build a unified vertical structure of youth and under-21 national teams up to the senior team. He believes that everyone should work in one format and with the same ideas. So this seminar became the first step towards building the mentioned structure," emphasized Serhiy Rebrov's assistant in the national team, Hlib Platov.

"Within this project, I am a coordinator of interaction between U-17, U-19 and U-21 teams, where my task is to implement players into more senior teams. In Uzhhorod, we worked specifically to launch the process initiated by Serhiy Rebrov. We interacted with specialists who have been working in the Ukrainian Football Association for a long time. We discussed ideas about playing style and work with players who need to be prepared for the national team," emphasized coach of the under-21 team Unai Melgrosso.

"Creating a unified vertical structure of national teams is a complex and lengthy process. But it is necessary to systematically adapt all our teams to one development algorithm, lay a solid foundation for the future. Also, an important element will be the search and support of young football players - candidates for the team who were forced to leave their families abroad due to full-scale Russian aggression. It's important that we can identify every one of our young talents, and in this, the Ukrainian Football Association will help with the innovative scouting department currently being formed. Specifically, each age category team will be assigned a specialist responsible for searching and identifying Ukrainian football players in countries across Europe and the world," noted First Vice President of the UAF Vadim Kostyuchenko.
