In the third qualifying round of the Vbet Cup of Ukraine, amateurs from "Mykolaiv," located in Lviv Oblast, lost to first-league "Agrobusiness" — 1:3.

The head coach of Podillya Oleksandr Chizhevsky commented on the official website of the UAF about what helped his team overcome their opponent:

— The match in Mykolaiv once again confirmed that one must take every opponent very seriously in cup battles. Our encounter with the local amateur team was a close contest. Moreover, if the hosts had scored from the penalty kick at 1-1 in extra time, we would have returned to Volochysk empty-handed. Fortunately, our goalkeeper won this duel, although luck played its part.

And already in overtime, it became evident that our advantage in physical preparation allowed us to tip the scales in our favor. Taking the opportunity, I want to pay tribute to "Mykolaiv" for their fighting spirit and desire to play combination football.

What's next? It is very much hoped that a UPL team will come to Volochysk in the next round. This would be a real event for the city.
