In the third preliminary round of the Vbet Cup of Ukraine, football players from "Viktoriya" secured a victory over "Ingulets" away from home — 1:0 and will continue their fight for the prestigious prize.

Head coach of "Viktoriya," Anatoliy Bezsmertnyi, shared his impressions about yesterday's match in Petrov with the official website of the UAF:

— It cannot be said that both teams fielded optimal lineups. After all, the Ukrainian Premier League has already seen several rounds, and the resources of the participants are not infinite. Therefore, players who lack game practice had a chance to show themselves.

Overall, the match was evenly contested. We opened the scoring before halftime; the goal was, as they say, hard-earned. The hosts only regained initiative near the end of the match. This will be a lesson for our young footballers — always fight until the very end. Nevertheless, we managed to hold on, and "Viktoriya" continues its pursuit of the prestigious prize.
