To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on August 7, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred and fiftieth day of the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against our country has begun.

During the past day, the enemy carried out 30 missile strikes and 52 air raids, conducted 75 artillery attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there were casualties among civilians, residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.

Fifty combat encounters took place during the day.

On the Volynian and Polissian fronts, the operational situation — no significant changes.

On the Northern and Slobodskiy fronts, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery shelling of more than 35 populated areas, including Buchky, Hremincha, Vesele in Chernihiv Oblast; Seredina-Buda, Sydorivka, Studenok, Basivka, Velyka Pysaryvka in Sumy Oblast and Horiv Kozatsk, Strilechya, Gatyshche, Potikhonove, Otradne and Bologivka in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk Front, our soldiers steadfastly hold their defense, successfully repelling enemy attacks near the village of Petro-Pavlivka in Kharkiv Oblast. The enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Petro-Pavlivka and Podolye in Kharkiv Oblast. Artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy affected more than 10 populated areas, including Figolivka, Dvorichna, Kindrashivka, Kucherivka, Kupyansk and Kislyvka in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Lyman Front, the enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Bilyhorodok Luhansk Oblast and Spirdne and Rozdolovka Donetsk Oblast. Artillery shelling by the enemy affected populated areas such as Kuzymiv, Bilyhorodok Luhansk Oblast and Torske, Verkhnyokamyanske, Spirdne, Berestove and Rozdolovka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut Front, defensive forces are holding back the enemy near north-east of Delyavivka. Over 15 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Vasyukivka, Bogdanivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Klyshchyivka and Pivnichne in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiyivka Front, our defenders successfully repelled attacks under heavy air and artillery fire from the enemy in the area of Avdiyivka. Artillery shelling affected Avdiyivka and Perevalskiy in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Marinka Front, defensive forces continue to hold back Russian troops' advance in the areas of Marinka and Krasnogorovka. Near the latter, the enemy carried out an air strike. Artillery shelling affected Krasnogorovka, Maximilianoivka, Georgiyivka, Pobeda and Novomikhaylivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Shakhtarsk Front, the enemy carried out an air strike near Staro-Majorsky. Artillery shelling affected Vodyane, Ugledar, Otradne, Blagodatne and Rivnopil in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhya Front, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions near Robotinoye in Zaporizhzhya Oblast. The enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Robotinoye and Orikhiv. Artillery shelling affected over 15 populated areas, including Levadne, Chervone, Zaliznychnye, Pavlivka, Pyatykhatsky and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhya Oblast, as well as Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

On the Kherson Front, the enemy carried out an air strike near Olgivka in Kherson Oblast. Artillery shelling by the enemy affected over 20 populated areas, including Mikhailivka, Respublyanets, Lvov, Dniprovskoye, Velyten and Novodmytrivka in Kherson Oblast.

The enemy continues to suffer heavy losses which it tries to hide by all means. Thus, in the temporarily occupied village of Chaplyntsi in Kherson Oblast, two cargo vehicles with bodies of Russian soldiers arrived at a morgue from the Kherson Front. The bodies were buried on two sites.

The Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out 10 strikes against areas of enemy personnel concentration and four — against enemy air defense missile systems during the past day.

Subunits of rocket forces and artillery over the course of the day hit two command points, two areas of enemy personnel concentration, two artillery units on firing positions and one radio-electronic warfare station of the enemy.

Overall, our soldiers liquidated 540 Russian occupiers during the past day. The enemy lost seven tanks, eight armored combat vehicles, twelve artillery systems, four MLRS, one air defense system, twenty-eight tactical drones, ten vehicles and a unit of special equipment.
