President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about the second day of high-level political and military meetings in Zakarpattia and revealing numerous instances of misconduct within the system for equipping the army.

There were many consultations today. Various ones. International work, internal security, national defense.

A meeting on the Crimea Platform — the content of the summit, international presence at the summit, its impact on our ability to constantly push for the liberation of Crimea. We are working on details. Moreover, we are already preparing not only the Crimean Platform summit at the leader level in August but also the parliamentary dimension of the Crimean Platform — this summit will be held in autumn.

In Zakarpattia today — the second day of an important meeting with Ukraine's ambassadors. 

Yesterday and today there were meetings at the highest political and military levels. Very specific talks between ambassadors with the Minister of Defense, with the Chief Commander, with the Air Force commander, with Vice Admiral Neizhpapa, Navy Commander. Head of foreign intelligence Litvinenko, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Danilov. All. I specifically asked both Chief Commander Zaluzhnyi and commanders to hold a corresponding meeting with Mr. Kuleba so that key issues necessary for our soldiers and defense forces would be conveyed to ambassadors.

Today, Prime Minister Shmyhal was also at the meeting, as well as Yulia Svyrydenko, Stepanishin, Kubrakov. There was also a meeting of ambassadors with Speaker of Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk regarding parliamentary diplomacy that can be very effective if it fully corresponds to our overall state strategy. 

It is important for Ukraine's ambassadors to have the maximum detail on each need of Ukraine. Weapons, equipment, ammunition, finances, specific political decisions... Thank you to everyone who was active at this meeting in Zakarpattia, thank you, Zakarpattia, for your reception.

Today there were reports from SBU head Malyk and Minister of Internal Affairs Klimenko. Among other things, one issue — the verification of "military commissariats." 

We talked in detail. The verification reveals many abuses. Openly disgusting ones. All facts uncovered by law enforcement are presented to society and investigated within criminal proceedings. Conclusion is clear: people who understand the value of Ukraine's defense need to be in the system for equipping. Value, not price of decisions. In "military commissariats" should work those who have seen war, gone through it. There are those who, unfortunately, lost limbs but did not lose their dignity and did not lose Ukraine. Thank you to them.

Minister Klimenko separately and in detail reported on the preparation of our National Guard members. Ensuring ammunition and equipment — priority. Also — regarding protection of critical objects, including nuclear power plants. Discussed the situation in regions after Russia's terrorist attack on the Kakhovska HES, ensuring people with everything necessary. The minister also briefed on measures taken to combat crime. Informative reports on the entire range of MVS work.

And, of course, the front. 

The battles are tough, occupiers use all means to stop our guys. Assaults very brutal. Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Mariupol, Avdiivka directions. Southern directions. Everywhere not easy. But no matter what the enemy does, Ukrainian strength prevails. And I thank everyone on the front for this!

I especially highlight today's fighters of the 15th Operational Brigade of the National Guard. Melitopol direction. Thank you, guys! Also highlighting soldiers of the Izmail Border Patrol who together with naval units counter Russian "shahed" attacks. 

Overall, terrorists have already launched at least 1961 "shaheds" against Ukraine and a significant part has been shot down. Unfortunately, not all. We are working to shoot down more — so as much as possible to intercept them. Working to have more air defense systems. This is the task for every ambassador, all representatives of Ukraine.

Everyone must work towards victory, for the protection of life, people's lives and our beautiful Ukraine! We will definitely win.
