A week ago, Viktor Syrnyk’s wards in the Polish city of Tychy secured a victory over “Dilya” — 2:1. Now, however, “Vorskla” has set off on a trip to Georgia’s Goris.

The first half was dominated by “Dilya,” although apart from a few half-moments, neither team could boast of much. Nevertheless, the home side's attacks were already more acute, and at the 45th minute they went ahead: Ysenko failed to play out, Santos intercepted him, and after hitting the crossbar, Parulava scored the rebound. “Vorskla” responded with an inaccurate shot from distance by Chesnakov before halftime.

The second half started in favor of Poltava’s team; one can mention Kane's shot near the post. However, over time, initiative shifted to “Dilya,” which resulted in a dangerous shot by Gail and a save by Ysenko after Batuli's cross. And ultimately, the hosts scored again on the 71st minute — Kovtalyuk capitalized on a one-on-one situation following Gail’s pass from deep inside.

On the 74th minute, “Vorskla” equalized in the duel when Stepaniuk, after Batuli's pass and a tussle with Nesterenko, broke through to the penalty area and outmaneuvered the goalkeeper. Unfortunately, at the end of regular time, the Georgians scored again when Gail intercepted Perduta and passed the ball past Ysenko following Dzocenidze’s cross from his own half.

Thus, “Vorskla” concedes away with a score of 1:3 and exits European competitions. It should be noted that white-and-green have been eliminated in the second qualifying round for three consecutive seasons now.
