The head coach of the Second League debutant, FC "YUKSA", Mykola Tsimbal, shared his impressions from his team's victory over First League Buzhanska "Niva" (1:1, on penalties - 4:3) in the second preliminary round of the Vbet Cup of Ukraine with the official website of the UAF:

— On July 29, FC "YUKSA" won on penalties against amateur team "Storm" in the first cup round. And just two days later, we didn't escape an extra time and a football lottery against "Niva". And once again, Fortune was on our side. I believe that we deserved her favor, especially considering that our team, which is part of the Ukrainian Christian Sports Academy, is not yet fully staffed: only 15 players were listed in the squad, including two goalkeepers.

But we tried and endured, and already made it to the third cup round, something no one expected from us. By the way, against "Niva", everything could have ended without extra time if we had converted a golden opportunity when leading 1-0. However, the crossbar played for Buzhanska. Fortunately, in the penalty shootout, my players were once again more accurate.

I won't hide it, it's pleasant to realize that you're writing history. FC "YUKSA" is still getting on its feet, but has already recorded two hard-fought victories. I am proud of my boys who demonstrate true cup character. We are not planning to stop at what we have achieved.
