To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on July 27, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The one hundred and ninety-ninth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against our country has begun.

Last night, the Russian Federation carried out another strike on Ukraine using Iranian combat drones of the Shahed type. Information about the consequences of this terrorist attack is being clarified at present.

During the past day, the enemy launched 49 missile and 37 air strikes, conducted over 63 artillery attacks on our troops' positions and civilian settlements. Unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians, residential buildings have been destroyed.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains very high.

During the past day, 28 combat engagements took place.

On the Volynian and Polesian Directions, the operational situation — no significant changes.

On the Northern and Slobozhansky Directions the enemy maintains military presence. Carried out mortar and artillery shelling of over 25 populated areas, including Guta Studenetska, Semenivka, Yasna Polyana in Chernihiv Oblast; Vyl'na Sloboda, Popivka, Stebne, Basiwka, Mogrytsia, Pokrovka in Sumy Oblast and Veterinarnoe, Ohrymovka, Strilecha, Hlibokye, Kolodyazhne in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk Direction the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions south of Novoselyvskyy in Luhansk Oblast. The villages of Dvoricheva, Zapadne, Figolivka, Tabayivka, Topoli and Podolye in Kharkiv Oblast suffered artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Lyman Direction the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area south of Dibrova in Luhansk Oblast. The villages of Nevske and Bihorivka in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Torske, Verkhnyokamyanske, Spirene and Rozdolyvka — Donetsk were shelled with artillery.

On the Bakhmut Direction our defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks in the areas north of Khromove, east of Druzhba, and north of Klyshchyivka. The enemy carried out an air strike in the area of Klyshchyivka in Donetsk Oblast. Over 15 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery shelling, among them — Vasyukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Ivanivske, Hryhorivka, Chasiv Yar and Pivnichne in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiyivka Direction our defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks under heavy air and artillery fire in the area of the city of Avdiyivka. At the same time, the enemy shelled over 10 populated areas, among them — Novokalynove, Stepole, Avdiyivka, Perevomayske and Severne in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Mariupol Direction the forces of defense continue to hold back Russian troops' advance around the city of Mariinka. The enemy carried out an air strike near Krasnyhorivka. Artillery shelling was suffered by populated areas such as Kurakhivka, Krasnyhorivka, Georgiyivka, Mariinka and Pobeda in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Shakhtarsk Direction the enemy carried out unsuccessful attempts to regain lost positions around Staromajorskye in Donetsk Oblast. The enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Rivnopol, Blahodatne and Staromajorskye. Shelled over 15 populated areas, among them — Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolotaya Niva, Velika Novosilka, Storozhove and Blagodatne in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Directions the enemy is concentrating its efforts to prevent further advance of our troops. Carried out air strikes in the areas of Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmakha, Orikhovo, Pyatykhatskye in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Antonivka on Khersonshchyna. Artillery shelling was suffered by over 35 populated areas, among them — Malynivka, Hulyaypole, Stepole, Lobkove, Levadne and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast; Dudchani, Berislav, Kozatske, Molodyzhne, Antonivka, Komishany, Kizomys, Stanislav in Kherson Oblast and Ivanivka on Mykolayivshchyna. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct offensive operations on Melitopol and Berdiansk Directions, consolidate on gained positions, inflict fire damage.

The Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out 11 strikes against areas of enemy personnel concentration, weapons and military equipment during the past day and two — against his anti-aircraft missile complexes.

Units of rocket forces and artillery inflicted damage on 11 artillery means in firing positions, two command points, one ammunition depot, one area of enemy personnel concentration, weapons and military equipment and three more important targets during the past day.
