Glory to Ukraine! The five hundred and ninety-ninth day of the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.

Last night, the Russian Federation launched another missile and aviation strike on Ukraine. Information about the consequences of this terrorist attack is currently being verified.

Over the past day, the enemy carried out 11 missile strikes, 49 air raids, conducted 48 artillery attacks from multiple rocket launchers against our troops' positions and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, civilians were injured, residential buildings, agricultural and administrative structures, as well as private automobile transport were damaged.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains very high.

The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariupol axes — 28 combat engagements took place over the past day.

On the Volyn and Polissya axes, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On the Northern and Slobozhanskyi axes, the enemy carried out an air strike in the area of ​​the village of Shpyl, Sumy region during the day. Conducted mortar and artillery shelling of more than 20 populated areas, including Seredyna-Buda, Kozache, Stebne, Popivka, Grabove-Sumy region and Basovoe, Vishcha Yaruga, Terneva, Vovchanskyi Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk axis, our soldiers firmly hold their defense. During the day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions south of Masutivka, Kharkiv region. Carried out an air strike in the area of ​​Kislivka. The villages of Kamianka, Novomlynskyi, Dvorichna, Kupyansk and Kislivka Kharkiv region suffered from artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Lyman axis, during the day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions east of Veseloe, Donetsk region. Carried out air strikes in the areas of Bila Hora Luhansk region and Seversk on Donetska. The villages of Nevske, Bila Hora Luhansk region and Toriske, Spirene and Rozdolivka — Donetsk suffered from artillery shelling.

On the Bakhmut axis, our defenders successfully repelled all enemy attacks in the areas of Orilovo-Vasylivky, Hryhorivka and Ivanivske. The enemy also made attempts to restore lost positions northwest of Kurdyumivka but was unsuccessful. Air strikes were carried out in the areas of North and New York Donetsk region. More than 10 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Vasylkivka, Bogdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora and Druzhba on Donetska.

On the Avdiivka axis, the enemy carried out an air strike in the area of ​​the city of Avdiivka. At the same time, the enemy shelled more than 10 populated areas with artillery fire, including Avdiivka, Pervomaisk and Nevelsko Donetsk region.

On the Mariupol axis, the forces of defense continue to hold back Russian troops in the area of ​​Mariupol. The enemy shelled more than 10 populated areas, including Krasnogorivka, Mariupol and Georgiyivka Donetsk region.

On the Shakhtarsk axis, in the northern part of Staryy Mayorovskiy Donetsk region, the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to restore lost positions. Carried out air strikes in the areas of Novomikhaylivka, Vremivka, Blagodatnyy and Makarivka Donetsk region. Shelled populated areas such as Paraskevievka, Novomikhaylivka, Ugledar, Zolotaya Niva, Velika Nova Sylka and Blagodatne.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson axes, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts to prevent further advancement of our troops. Carried out air strikes in the areas of Novodarivka, Mala Tokmatska and Stepovo Zaporizhzhya region. Conducted artillery shelling of more than 15 populated areas, including Malinivka, Hulyaypole, Charyvne Zaporizhzhya region; Dudchani, Kozatske, Lvov, Ivanivka, Antonivka, Beregove, Kizomys, Rozliv Kherson region and the city of Kherson.

At the same time, the forces of defense of Ukraine continue to conduct offensive operations on the Melitopol and Berdiansk axes, consolidate on achieved lines, carry out counter-battery measures.

The aviation of the forces of defense carried out 15 strikes in areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment during the past day, one of which was against an enemy air defense missile complex.

Subunits of rocket troops and artillery inflicted damage on the area of ​​concentration of live forces, 20 artillery systems on firing positions, two anti-aircraft defense means and two REB stations of the occupiers during the day.

Overall, Ukrainian soldiers liquidated 620 Russian occupants over the past day. The enemy also lost eight tanks, eight armored combat vehicles, 23 artillery systems, four MLRS, three anti-aircraft defense means, eight tactical drones and 15 cars as well as eleven units of special equipment.
