Note to attention - operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on July 11, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The five hundred and third day of the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against our state has begun.

The Russian Federation continues to wage an aggressive war. Despite significant losses, it does not abandon its plans for the complete occupation of our territory.

The enemy continues to kill civilians in Ukraine and still ignores laws and customs of war, using a terror tactic, delivering strikes on both military and civilian objects.

During the night of July 11, 2023, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine from the southeast direction, specifically from Primorsko-Akhtarsk with Iranian-made Shahed drones.

A total of 28 kamikaze drones were involved. As a result of successful combat operations, our air defense systems destroyed 26 strike UAVs and one reconnaissance drone of the Zala type.

Over the past day, Russian occupiers delivered a missile strike on the territory of an infrastructure facility in Mykolaiv. Also, the enemy carried out 48 aviation strikes and conducted 60 artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers on our positions and populated areas. Unfortunately, along with damaged infrastructure, civilians were also affected.

The probability of missile and aviation strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

The enemy concentrates its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka directions, with fierce battles continuing. Over 30 combat engagements took place during the day.

On the Volynskyi and Polisskyi Directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. Signs of forming offensive groups have not been detected. Defined subunits of Belarusian armed forces are performing tasks in border areas with Ukraine.

On the Severnyi and Slobozhanskyi Directions, the enemy maintains a military presence. Over the past day, it carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Basovyi, Odnorobivka, and Veterinarnyi in Kharkiv Oblast. It conducted mortar and artillery shelling of about 10 populated areas, including Girske Chernihiv Oblast; Chuykivka Sumy Oblast, and Udi, Veterinarnoe, Ogireve, Zemlyanka Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk Direction, our soldiers steadfastly hold their defense. Artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy affected Krasne Pereche, Novomlynsk, Dvorychyna, Zapadne, Masutivka, Kislivka Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Lyman Direction, over the day, the enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of populated places Terne, Zvanivka, Rozdolivka, Bihorivka Donetsk Oblast. Artillery shelling affected more than 15 populated places, including Nvesk, Bihorivka Luhansk Oblast and Torske, Verkhnyokamianske, Ivan-Daryvka, Berestove, Vesele, Rozdolivka Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut Direction, under intense artillery fire from the enemy, our defenders successfully repelled attacks by occupiers in the area of the populated place Grigoriyivka Donetsk Oblast. The enemy carried out aviation strikes near Druzhba and Toretsk. Over 10 populated places suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Vasyukivka, Bogdanivka, Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Oleksandr-Shultyne, and Pivdenne Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiyivka Direction, defensive forces continue to hold back Russian troops' advance in the area of Severnyi Donetsk Oblast. The enemy carried out an aviation strike near Avdiyivka. At the same time, the enemy conducted artillery shelling of more than 10 populated places, including Avdiyivka, Pervomaiske and Nevelske Donetsk Oblast.

On the Marinka Direction, under enemy artillery fire, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the areas of populated places Marinka and Krasnogorivka. The enemy carried out an aviation strike near Krasnogorivka Donetsk Oblast. It shelled more than 10 populated places, including Krasnogorivka, Marinka, Georgiyivka, and Pobeda.

On the Shakhtarsk Direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Novomikhailivka Donetsk Oblast. It carried out an aviation strike near Otradnoye. It shelled more than 10 populated places, including Vuhledar, Storozhove, Blagodatne Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson Directions, the enemy concentrates its main efforts to prevent further advancement of our troops. It shelled more than 20 populated places, including Novodarivka, Levadne, Maliyevka, Hulyaypole, Zaliznychnye, Orikhove Zaporizhzhya Oblast; Berislaw, Kozatske, Lvov, Antonivka, Inzhenernoe, Dniprovskoye Kherson Oblast and the city of Kherson. At the same time, defensive forces of Ukraine continue to conduct offensive operations on Melitopol and Berdiansk Directions, consolidating on achieved lines.

Russian aggressors continue to seize children's preschool educational institutions in temporarily occupied populated places of Ukraine. They reequip Ukrainian kindergartens and schools as hospitals for medical assistance to their injured terrorists. For example, recently in the city of Tokmak in temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhya Oblast, aggressors converted a kindergarten into a military hospital. Currently, about 100 Russians with injuries of various degrees are being treated there.

Aviation of Ukraine's defensive forces delivered 15 strikes over the past day in areas of enemy personnel concentration, armament and military equipment. Also, our defenders destroyed three tactical-level reconnaissance UAVs.

Subunits of rocket troops and artillery during the day hit a command post, three areas of enemy manpower concentration, an ammunition depot, seven artillery systems on firing positions, a radio-electronic warfare station, and one air defense system of the enemy.

Overall, Ukrainian soldiers liquidated 540 Russian occupiers, destroyed four tanks, 17 armored combat vehicles, 14 artillery systems, four MLRS, one Russian helicopter, seven tactical-level reconnaissance UAVs, 29 vehicles and eight units of special equipment.
