In the third round of the Euro 2023 (U-21) group stage, Ukraine's youth national team drew with Spain (2:2).

The first goal for Ukraine was scored by forward Bogdan Vyunnyk of Austrian club "Grazer". He shared his impressions from the match with UEFA's official website journalists.

"Honestly, we are very disappointed with the draw because we dominated the game and thought we could win. Spain is one of the best teams in the world, but today we gave our maximum."

You can't imagine how important this goal was for me. I have been criticized a lot for scoring few goals, so I felt a strong pressure, but today I tried to stay calm. When I scored, I wanted to cry. 

Interacting with Nazarenko is normal for me. We are both fast players, and our goal is to break through into open space. He played the ball to me, and I scored. 

In the second half, we tried to maintain our pace and counter-attack. It was very sad when we conceded. Our team is like a family, and with every good moment, every goal, every win, we get a boost of confidence», — said Bogdan Vyunnyk.

The draw means that Ukraine's national team secured the second place in their group. Our team will play its quarterfinal on July 2nd in Cluj-Napoca, where they will face the Group D winner (France, Italy, Switzerland).
