To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on June 5, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred sixty-seventh day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against our country has begun.

The Russian Federation is continuing its occupation war at a high cost in lives.

Last night, the enemy used cruise missiles X-101/X-555 and Iranian strike drones Shahed. Air forces and means of air defense units, in coordination with other components of the Armed Forces of Ukraine's anti-aircraft defense, destroyed four out of six cruise missiles X-101/X-555 and six out of eight strike drones Shahed.

Overall, during the past day, the enemy inflicted 14 missile strikes and 40 air raids, carried out 51 shelling attacks with multiple rocket launchers on our troops' positions and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians, private residential buildings, educational institutions, as well as other civilian and administrative infrastructure have been damaged.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

The enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on attempts at full occupation of Luhansk and Donetsk regions. During the past day, 29 combat engagements took place.

On the Volynian and Polesian Directions, the operational situation — no significant changes.

On the Northern and Slobozhansky Directions last night, the enemy made an unsuccessful attempt to infiltrate a DGR through Ukraine's state border in the vicinity of the populated area of Zelenykharkiv region; also inflicted missile strikes on areas around Vovchansk, Chuguev, and aerial strikes on Ivashki, Ogireve, Gatishevo Kharkiv region. Carried out mortar and artillery shelling of populated areas in Karpovichi Chernihiv region; Znobs-Novgorodskoye, Brusky, Atinsky, Basyvka, Yunakiyevka, Sadki, Myropillya, Turia, Grabovske, Oleksandrivka, Velyka Pysaryvka, Shevchenkove Sumy region; as well as Ivashki, Udi, Chervona Zorya, Hoptivka, Krasne, Zeleno, Starytsya, Ogireve, Gatishevo, Plytenivka, Vovchansk, Karaiychne, Budarki and Chugunivka in Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk Direction, during the day that passed, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions near Novoselivskiy Luhansk region. Inflicted an aerial strike on the area of Serhiyivka Donetsk region. The areas of Kolodyazhne, Krasnoye First, Figolivka, Novomlynsky, Dovgenke, Kutykivka, Dorichna, Zapadnye, Kyslivka, Kotlyarivka, Tabayevka, Berestevo Kharkiv region and Novoselivskiy Luhansk region suffered from artillery and mortar shelling.

On the Lyman Direction, during the past day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Bihorovka Luhansk region. The areas of Makieyivka, Nevskoye, Bihorovka Luhansk region and Verkhnyokamyanske, Torske, Spirene, Rozdolivka Donetsk region suffered from artillery shelling.

On the Bakhmut Direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions towards Ivanivskiy but was unsuccessful. Inflicted aerial strikes in the areas of Vasutynske, Toretsk and Pivnichnyy. The areas around Vasukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Khromove, Chasyev Yar, Ivanivske, Stupochki, Predtechina, Bila Hora, Dilievka and New York Donetsk region suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

On the Avdiyivsky Direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions. Inflicted an aerial strike on the area of Avdiyivka. Carried out artillery shelling in the areas around Avdiyivka, Pervomaysk and Karlivka Donetsk region.

On the Mariupol Direction, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the vicinity of the city of Mariinka. At the same time, the enemy inflicted an aerial strike within this populated area. Carried out artillery shelling on the areas around Gorye, Mariinka and Pobeda Donetsk region.

On the Shakhtarsky Direction, the enemy shelled Vuhledar, Prechistivka and Novoukrayinka Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson Directions, the enemy continues to conduct defensive actions. Inflicted aerial strikes in the areas around Novopil Donetsk region, Olhyvskoye Zaporizhzhya region, Berislav and Veselye Kherson region. Carried out artillery shelling on the areas around Vilene Pole, Zelenye Pole, Novopil, Temirivka Donetsk region; Olhyvskoye, Maliyevka, Hulyaypole, Zaliznychno, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriyivka, Stepanov and Kamianske Zaporizhzhya region; Kozatske, Tyagynka, Ivanivka, Dniprovskoye, Kizomys Kherson region as well as the city of Kherson.

Air forces of the Armed Forces carried out 15 strikes on areas of enemy personnel concentration over the day.

Our defenders destroyed six enemy reconnaissance drones.

Subunits of rocket troops and artillery inflicted damage to three command points, two areas of weapons and military equipment concentration, four ammunition depots, two anti-aircraft missile systems and four radio-electronic warfare stations of the enemy over the day.
